Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to support our school food service program. This role focuses on prep, service to students, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. It’s an active, team-focused position with a meaningful daily impact on students.

You will follow simple recipes, work with the team to maintain safety standards, and assist with meal service during the school day. Enjoy a supportive environment with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients and convert quantities for large batches.
• Dependability, integrity and a commitment to good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked and follow serving-size guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and keep kitchen, storage, and equipment clean using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety, complete basic logs and assist with production records.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback and updates to team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in to help teammates, train new staff and cover when someone is out.
