Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program. In this role you’ll help prep simple menu items, serve students, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. It’s an active, team‑focused role that makes a real impact on students’ day.

Work Monday–Friday 10am-1:30pm at Holderge School District, on-site. You’ll gain experience with food safety, follow simple recipes, and support the team with prep, serving, and inventory tasks; enjoy a stable

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and convert quantities for large batches.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and twisting.
• Dependability and a positive, customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked, and follow serving-size and diet guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and maintain cleanliness using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety and complete basic logs and production records.
• Communicate supply needs and updates to the team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Fill in where needed, train new team members, and assist when someone is out.
