Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team-focused Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program. You’ll help prep simple menu items, serve students, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. It’s an active role that makes a real impact on students’ day.

You’ll follow recipes, maintain station readiness, and support safety and sanitation practices while working in a friendly school kitchen environment. This full-time role offers weekday daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; able to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients for batches.
• Dependability, integrity and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep station stocked and follow serving-size guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes and keep kitchen, storage areas and equipment clean using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety, complete basic logs and assist with production records.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and assist with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in to help teammates, train new staff and assist when someone is out.
