Job summary

Elior School Dining is seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor to join the Ashland School District team. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient operations in a fast-paced school dining environment.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience in quality, high-volume settings with scratch cooking, strong culinary knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and train a team effectively. A food handlers certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high-volume setting with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation; ensure meals start on time and items meet quality standards.
