Qualifications

• Candidates must meet minimum qualifications for Civil Service appointment.
• The ideal candidate must have substantial food service and supervision experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift 40 pounds.
• Some night and weekend work required.
• Familiarity with most commonly used computer software and the ability and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Requisition food and supplies.
• Maintain records on inventory, production, and sales.
• Maintain time and payroll records.
• Plan work schedules.
• Oversee Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
• Supervises and participates in the cleaning and care of kitchen equipment.
• Supervises the training of kitchen staff involved in food preparation, cooking and serving.
• Supervises and participates in the preparation and cooking of meals.
