Maschio's Food Service Inc. in Edison, NJ is seeking a Kitchen Lead to coordinate daily meal preparation for students. You will oversee cooking operations, ensure timely service, and model safe, high-quality food production.

The role requires strong organization, leadership, and teamwork, with experience in a kitchen setting and familiarity with POS systems. You will complete production records, supervise staff, and help plan menus to support nutritious meals.

Formación

• Experience in commercial, restaurant, institutional, or school cooking preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a kitchen is a plus.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system or willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift, stand, and perform the physical duties of a commercial kitchen.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch for students.
• Serve meals to students in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Lead daily kitchen operations and serve as the primary kitchen contact.
• Complete required production records and other food service documentation.
• Operate the POS system accurately.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development.
• Work collaboratively with the food service team to provide high-quality meals.
