Job summary

Saint Cloud School District 742 is seeking a Kitchen Helper to assist with breakfast and lunch service, dishwashing, cashiering, and basic food prep for students and staff. The role is hourly with hours varying by program needs and assignments.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, serving meals, keeping areas clean, counting sales, and assisting with order prep and kitchen maintenance under the supervision of the head cooks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years' work-related experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare food as directed by head cooks
• Set up serving lines
• Serve food to students and staff
• Keep service area and food dispensers cleaned and stocked
• Count/record the quantity of food sold on daily and weekly sheets
• Make short order food as needed (ice cream, malts, pop)
• Compile food and supply orders
• Receive money for cash sales in ala-cart line
• Assist with cleaning the kitchen, cooking equipment and entire serving area, including washing dishes with power washer
• Other duties as assigned
