Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is hiring a School Food Service Worker to prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff in a school setting. You will set up serving stations, follow safety procedures, and help create a welcoming mealtime experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Training is provided, and the schedule runs Monday through Friday with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.
• Always presents a positive and professional image; ability to work effectively as part of a food service team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
