Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Service Worker to support our school nutrition team, serving healthy meals to students and staff on a steady daytime schedule. You will prep, portion, and serve meals and keep serving stations clean and compliant with safety standards, all while delivering a positive, welcoming mealtime experience.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and attentiveness in a fast-paced kitchen. Training is provided; prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments.
• Positive and professional image; works well in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety rules.

Responsibilities
