Genuine Foods is seeking a Food Service Worker to support elementary, middle, or high school sites with serving and light prep in compliance with recipe standards and USDA guidelines.

You will interact with students, teachers, and parents, delivering superior customer service and upholding Genuine Foods’ mission to nourish minds, bodies, and happiness. Opportunities exist to learn culinary skills and advance your career.

Qualifications

• Flexible and team-oriented work approach.
• Experience in mid-high volume food service or restaurants.
• Willingness to learn USDA NSLP compliance.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness.
• Punctual and able to follow attendance policies.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to work in a K-12 school environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all served food meets Genuine Foods quality and safety standards.
• Serve food to students and staff with a positive attitude.
• Coordinate with team to ensure food is ready and served on time.
• Keep kitchen and serving areas clean and sanitized.
• Stock and organize kitchen/serving areas for efficient service.
• Report issues promptly to Site Lead or Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
