Job summary

Burr Ridge CCSD 180 is seeking a part-time Food Service Cook to support nutritious meals for students and staff in a district kitchen. Under the Food Service Director, you will assist with meal preparation, food service, sanitation, inventory, and daily kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate will hold Illinois food-handler and preparation certifications, have prior food service experience, and be able to work 7:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. with strong teamwork and confidentiality in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service
• Maintain food safety and sanitation in kitchen areas
• Assist with inventory, receiving, storing, and organizing food products
• Assist with daily operation of the school kitchen
• Follow district policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Food Service Director and staff to ensure efficient meal service
