Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring for full-time Cook positions at Kamehameha Schools Hawaii. The role requires hands-on high-volume scratch cooking, recipe following and banquet-style production, with volume baking experience preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with some weekends; pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus perks.

Qualifications

• Previous high volume scratch cooking experience.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and guidelines.
• Experience with banquet-style production and volume baking.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portions and serving temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and HACCP standards; stores or discards excess food per procedures.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as needed.
