Early Learning Academies is seeking an experienced cook to join our school-based kitchen in Morehead, KY. You’ll manage a high-volume kitchen, ensure meals meet safety standards, and support students with nourishing, on-time meals.

Qualified applicants have HS diploma or GED, 12+ hours of ECE coursework, and prior experience in child-care or school settings. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with HS diploma or GED.
• Experience cooking for groups in school or similar settings.
• Knowledge of health, safety and licensing requirements for childcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and food prep for a large kitchen.
• Handle food truck intake and meal service for students and staff.
• Adhere to health department guidelines and safety procedures.
• Serve meals to a large number of people, preferably in a school setting.
• Assist with cleaning and dishwashing; accommodate allergies and special diets.
