Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Service Worker to help prep, portion, and serve meals for students and staff, while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will work Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, enjoying family-friendly hours and a supportive team in a school setting.

Starting at $17.00 per hour, the role offers training, growth opportunities, and comprehensive benefits. No prior experience is required, making this a great entry point into food service and helping

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.
• Presents a positive and professional image; able to work in a fast-paced kitchen as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
