Job summary

Whitsons invites applications for a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team. You will prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff, while setting up stations and upholding safety standards in a busy school kitchen. No experience needed as training is provided, with friendly hours that keep afternoons free. This is a full-time or part-time position in a supportive school community.

Pay rate is $18/hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Whitsons.

Qualifications

• Must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to understand and perform job assignments, follow recipes, and comply with safety requirements.
• Always presents a positive and professional image; ability to work effectively as part of a food service team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
