Job summary

The Nutrition Group is hiring for a role in a local school kitchen/cafeteria. Daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, no weekends, and holidays off. Starting rate is $11.50 per hour, with PTO and a 401(k) plan available.

Responsibilities include cooking and food preparation, portioning and serving, and maintaining sanitation per USDA and state guidelines. Candidates should have reliability, good communication, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
• A positive and consistent work ethic
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position
• Food service experience preferred
• Computer literacy preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
