Job summary

Camden Hills Regional High School invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant. This full-time role focuses on scratch cooking, supporting the kitchen manager, and ensuring safe, efficient operation from 7am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break. Qualifications

• Training in sanitation and food handling safety.
• Ability to interact well with students, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a high standard of nutrition for all students.
• Work as a team member with staff at assigned school.
• Operate necessary equipment in the safest and most efficient way to maximum capacity.
• Be responsible for the correct use of and care of all equipment.
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of all foods.
• Follow established sanitation and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain all federal and state production records and related paperwork as assigned by the Food Services Director.
• Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Food Service Manager and/or Food Service Director.
