Job summary

Growing Room Auburn isHiring a dependable Kitchen Helper to support meal prep for children from 6 months to 12 years and to deliver meals to classrooms. You will also assist with washing dishes and cleaning kitchen utensils, keeping the workspace orderly.

The role requires lifting 40–60 lbs occasionally, and passing a drug screen and background check. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a preferred High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent desired.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Criminal Background Check.
• Experience in a kitchen or childcare support role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation for children ages 6 months to 12 years.
• Deliver food to classrooms and collect food bins after meals.
• Wash pans, food bins, kitchen utensils, and related equipment.
• Must be able to lift 40–60 lbs occasionally to unload food orders.
