The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing items, cooking, packaging, serving meals, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Serve Safe Certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Must pass federal background check.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsabilités

• Prepare fruits, vegetables, and other menu items according to recipes and schedules.
• Wash, cut, portion, cook, and package food products for distribution.
• Assist with meal assembly and service to ensure quality standards.
• Label, date, and store food following safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, steam tables, and knives.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shift.
• Follow HAACP procedures and document temperatures as required.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking inventory using FIFO.
• Support cooks with food preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and safety rules.
