Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawaii seeks a Hawaii Keiki Health Technician to support school health services in Lahaina. Under supervision, you will coordinate screenings, promote wellness, collect data, and assist with health education and visits with a Nurse Practitioner.

The role includes data entry, HIDOE protocol adherence, and coverage of health needs for students, with a pay rate of $22.25 per hour and generous leave benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum education and certifications meet health-related requirements.
• Strong communication and organization are essential.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Clinical setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school health screenings with partners.
• Promote health and wellness in schools.
• Collect data, perform disease surveillance, and entry tasks.
• Provide health coverage for students’ needs as assigned.
• Facilitate visits with a Nurse Practitioner, in person or virtual.
