Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawaii is seeking a Hawaii Keiki Health Technician to coordinate school health tasks, including screenings with community partners and health promotion. You will support data collection, disease surveillance, and health education for students, and assist visits with a HK Nurse Practitioner (APRN).

This position at Aiea Intermediate School involves in-person and virtual visits, following HIDOE protocol, under HK supervision, with a 32.5-hour workweek and full-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school health tasks including screenings with community partners.
• Support data collection and disease surveillance.
• Facilitate virtual and/or in-person visits with a HK Nurse Practitioner (APRN).
• Follow HIDOE protocol when covering school health rooms as requested.
