Job summary

Anaheim Union High School District is seeking an entry-level Health Services Technician to manage student health records, administer medications, and assist with health screening programs under a District nurse’s supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, CNA/MA training or related coursework, and a valid first aid/CPR certificate. Experience in health care or first aid is preferred, with focus on confidentiality and strong communication with students and families.

Qualifications

• High school graduate. CNA/MA training or college coursework in nursing/health is desirable.
• 1 year of experience with first aid or in a health care setting preferred.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and file student health records and prepare related reports.
• Administer medication and provide routine first aid to ill or injured students.
• Assist with health screening programs and CPR/first aid when needed.
• Communicate health information to parents, students, and staff and ensure confidentiality.
