Academies of Math and Science is seeking a Health Technician to support students' health needs across a Westside AMS campus. Start ASAP, location to be filled at AMS campus, compensation $15.50–$17 hourly DOE.

You will administer first aid, manage medications, and collaborate with staff to maintain a safe health program. The role requires a Medical Assistant Certificate or CMA/EMT/CNA, fingerprint clearance, and 2 years of school-based experience.

Formación

• Must hold Medical Assistant Certificate or CMA/EMT/CNA.
• Must obtain IVP Level 1 fingerprint clearance card at all times.
• Pass criminal history background check.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and written skills.
• 2 years school-based experience.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certified.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing and school health expertise.
• Liaise with the Arizona Department of Health and non-profits.
• Research AZ health laws and practices for schools.
• Conduct health office audits and record findings.
• Administer first aid and medications per policy.
• Maintain immunizations and health records for students.
• Maintain health office sanitation and supplies.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
