Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a qualified registered nurse to support students in the Spring Lake Park School District, MN. This in-person, full-time position offers a day shift schedule (Monday–Friday) with no weekends and starting pay of $36/hour.

The role focuses on caring for students with chronic conditions, maintaining immunization records, providing first aid, and coordinating with families and school staff to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Qualifications

• RN license in Minnesota is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• TB test negative current.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure state compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding health status and follow-up care.
• Assist with mobility and lifting as needed.

• Starting at $36/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.


• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations


• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses


• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.


• Maintain accurate and confidential health records


• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care


• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time


• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications:

• MN state RN license

• 1 year of school nursing experience
