Responsibilities

• Undertake the delivery of the national child measurement programme (NCMP) in named schools under the direction of the public health Nurse.
• Establish and maintain communication with patients, relatives and carers and the multidisciplinary team to be able to provide holistic patient care.
• Develop own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help their development.
• Ensure own actions help to maintain quality.
• Assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating programmes of health promotion in schools and at community events/coffee mornings
• Lead on group work with school aged children and support the delivery of health promotion in schools and other community locations, delivering appropriate PSHE.
