Orting School District is seeking a licensed practical nurse to support student health at Ptarmigan Ridge Elementary School. You will implement health care plans and provide direct care for students with chronic conditions, under licensed supervision and provider orders.

The role requires a Washington LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and potential school setting experience. 180-day year, 7.5 hours per day, with bus ride duties included.

Responsabilidades

• Implements health care plans.
• Provides direct care for students with chronic health issues.
• Provides one-on-one care including procedures under IHP.
• May ride the schoolbus with the student(s).
• Collaborates with health care providers, parents, staff and agencies.
• Monitors students in various settings and environments.
• Implements behavior management strategies and may use restraints as needed.
• Administers tests under supervision and assists with scoring.
• Refers students for further medical/dental treatment.
• Reports incidents and maintains health records.
• Assists with health screenings and management of health room.
