Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for two full-time school-based roles in the Spanaway area for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities include providing nursing care per health plans, administering medications, and supporting students' safety and learning during school hours.

The positions include a 1:1 student support assignment with bus transportation or a Program/Health Room option at an elementary school, with a Monday–Friday school-day schedule and ASAP

Qualifications

• Active Washington State LPN license and current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills; ability to work with school staff and families.
• Pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to ride the bus with the student for 1:1 assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per student health plans, provider orders, and district procedures.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor student health needs and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising nurse, school staff, families, and other providers to support student safety and participation.
• Respond to student health concerns and follow established emergency protocols.
