Job summary

Qualifications

• State-approved CNA training and successful exam completion.
• High school diploma or equivalent with health-related experience.
• CPR and AED certification maintained per American Heart Association standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily living activities and health-related tasks for students.
• Monitor and document students' health status and report changes to the lead nurse.
• Administer medications and perform basic procedures under supervision.
• Take and record vital signs and communicate emergencies promptly.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and proper equipment handling.
• Communicate with nurses, staff, and parents while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support student transportation and follow safety protocols.
• Report suspected child abuse or neglect to authorities as required.
