Job summary

Elsik Ninth Grade Center is seeking a Clinic Aide to work under a licensed nurse, maintaining health records and providing basic first aid and screenings. You will assist with vital signs, medication administration, and documentation while supporting students in a school health setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus nursing aide/MA/EMT certification and CPR basics; one year health-related experience with school-age children is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Nurse aide, medical assistant or EMT cert preferred.
• CPR and basic first aid certification recommended.
• One year health-related experience, preferably with school-age children.
• Knowledge of basic CPR/first aid and ability to document records.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and health staff in clinic operations.
• Take vital signs and document results per protocol.
• Administer medications per district policy and log accordingly.
• Maintain confidential student health records.
• Keep clinic clean, organized and safe for students.
