Job summary

Waller Independent School District is seeking a Health Clinic Aide to support the campus nurse and health office at the junior high level. You will assist with health screenings, basic care, documentation, and administrative tasks in the school clinic.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS CPR, and prior health-related experience; a professional, calm demeanor and strong recordkeeping skills are essential. This is a nonexempt, on-site position at the campus health office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• One year experience in health-related position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid to ill and injured students.
• Administer medication according to policies and document in EMR.
• Conduct mandated health screenings and document results.
• Record information on student health records.
• Maintain clinic supplies and prepare correspondence.
• Manage clinic independently when nurse is unavailable.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings.
