Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and care for minor injuries and illness according to a protocol.
• Administer medication to students according to policy and maintain medication log.
• Assist with screening programs and take vital signs; document results.
• Escort students to and from health room and assist students with disabilities.
• Contact parents for student pick-up per health protocols.
• Contact EMS per health protocols as directed.
• Maintain a safe clinic following infection control procedures.
• Prepare and file health records accurately and confidentially.
• Maintain daily log of health office activities and referrals.
• Maintain clinic supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Comply with federal/state laws and district policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
