Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Health Assistant to support the school nurse at Hudlow Elementary School. The role focuses on health and clerical tasks to keep the health office running smoothly.

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will assist with immunization compliance, basic health screenings, and incident documentation, while adhering to district policies and applicable state laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR, First Aid and AED certification from an in-person provider.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; ability to read and follow instructions.
• Competency in basic math for dosage calculations and vital signs conversions.
• Preferred: 1 year of health care or school health experience.

Responsibilities
