Job summary

Towles Elementary School in Reno, NV seeks a Clinical Aide to support Student Health Services. This 27.5-hour-per-week position spans 191 days and operates under the supervision of the School Nurse.

You will administer first aid, assist with medications, perform health screenings, and maintain records in a busy health office. Heartsaver + AED CPR and First Aid certifications are required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: any combination
• Licenses/certificates: Heartsaver + AED CPR; First Aid within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid to injured or ill students
• Assist with physician-prescribed medications under nurse direction
• Conduct basic vision/hearing screenings and maintain immunization records
• Update and maintain student health records in the designated database
• Perform periodic AED maintenance and keep health office organized
