Qualifications

• Requires Heartsaver + AED CPR card from American Heart Association within 30 days.
• Requires Standard First Aid card from American Heart Association or Red Cross within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides first aid to injured or ill students following policies and CPR guidelines.
• Assists students with physician-prescribed medications under nurse direction; performs delegable nursing procedures.
• Supports the School Nurse by conducting screenings and monitoring immunization records.
• Updates and maintains student health records; inputs health data into the designated database.
• Keeps health office clean and stocked; performs AED checks.
• Assists with daily routines and communicates health policies to students, families, and staff.
