IDEA Public Schools in Florida is seeking a Health Aide to provide direct student health services, conduct mandated screenings, and maintain immunization compliance. The role reports to the campus Assistant Principal of Operations and collaborates with the Director of Health Services.

The position offers an hourly rate of $16.00–$20.00 with eligibility for a team-performance bonus. Benefits include family leave, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive health plans.

Formación

• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills.
• Ability to use PC and software to develop databases and do word processing.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care utilizing professional assessment skills, the nursing process, and established school health protocols.
• Serve as a health advocate for students.
• Notify parents of accidents or illnesses and secure medical care for students in emergency cases.
• Coordinate management system to administer medications to students at school.
• Establish and implement effective procedures for mandatory screening programs; make referrals as necessary.
