Job summary

Southwest ISD is seeking a Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds Crew Worker to help maintain the district’s school facilities in good operating condition.

The role requires following oral and written instructions, operating landscaping equipment, maintaining grounds related equipment, and adhering to safety procedures. Candidates should be at least 18, able to drive district vehicles, and pass a fingerprint check. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be insurable to drive district vehicles.
• Fingerprinting check satisfactory outcome.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Use equipment properly.
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain grounds-related equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and staff.
• Keep required district attire.
• Work well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude.
• Assist with moving furniture and materials as needed.
• Attend daily and be punctual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
