Job summary

Branch ISD seeks a Yards and Grounds Custodian at the Administration Building. This role performs maintenance, landscaping, custodial tasks, and light repairs to keep grounds and facilities safe, clean, and well maintained.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1 year custodial/grounds experience (or 2 years beyond high school). Must be physically fit, able to operate power equipment, and willing to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: high school graduate.
• Experience: 1 year custodial/maintenance/grounds, or 2 years beyond high school.
• Other skills: physical fitness, flexibility, equipment operation, and ability to read written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, landscaping, and general maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and buildings to state and local standards.
• Organize work via Maintenance Request Forms and prioritize work.
• Operate tractors, snow blowers, and other power equipment.
• Keep records of maintenance activities and assist with snow removal.
