Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or standard high school diploma from GaDOE-approved institution.
• Minimum of two years' experience in grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver's license for district vehicles.
• Preferred: five years of grounds maintenance experience.
• Must possess or be able to acquire grounds maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient use of grounds equipment and safety gear.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work sites.
• Collaborate with vendors and staff on landscaping projects.
• Deliver safe, clean, and well-maintained district grounds.
• Identify safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Read blueprints and construction plans relevant to grounds projects.
• Assist with grading, drainage, and site preparation tasks.
