Job summary

Agua Fria Union High School District is seeking a General Maintenance/Grounds Worker to support maintenance, groundskeeping and renovation activities at Desert Edge High School.

The role requires experience with heavy manual tasks, operation of grounds equipment, and safe work practices; strong reading of blueprints is a plus. Applicants should be able to work 8 hours daily and meet basic qualification requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred Arizona driver license.
• Must meet minimum age and possess a valid fingerprint clearance card.
• Experience with maintenance, grounds work, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and grounds work using various equipment.
• Operate mower, tractor; replace belts, perform oil changes and basic repairs.
• Maintain irrigation systems and grounds, including athletic fields.
• Read blueprints and documents to complete maintenance projects as needed.
• Comply with safety rules, OSHA requirements and maintain records.
