Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years vocational or technical training or equivalent experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain Minnesota Certified Pesticide/Herbicide Applicators License within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance and gardening duties to create a safe, clean environment.
• Maintain and care for equipment, vehicles, and playground items; identify hazards.
• Mow, trim, aerate, and manage bedding plants and ground cover; weed control.
• Snow removal on driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots; apply salt as needed.
• Support custodial staff and respond to emergency grounds needs.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment and perform minor repairs.
