Job summary

Denton Independent School District is seeking a Maintenance II to help maintain safe grounds and facilities in the Denton, Texas area. This full-time role reports to the Maintenance Coordinator and falls under the Auxiliary pay family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in painting and chalking sports fields.
• Paint and stencil parking lots.
• Trim and remove trees.
• Maintain and repair playground equipment.
• Assist in fencing and concrete work.
• Cross-train with Maintenance staff as time allows.
• Minimal mowing and weed trimming.
• Distribute playground surface material.
