The role requires directing staff, managing contractors, reviewing purchases, and evaluating overtime and performance, with emphasis on district rules and flexible scheduling to support events.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience including two years in a supervisory role.
• General knowledge of maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of district policies and procedures.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Grounds and Athletic Fields Department operations.
• Administer district policies related to disciplinary actions for staff.
• Review and approve purchases of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Complete monthly overtime reports and monitor hours.
• Visit sites to ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Monitor and enforce district safety regulations and perform annual staff evaluations.
• Schedule, supervise, and monitor field contractors and subcontractors.
• Interface with internal and external customers regarding event status and priorities.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and comply with district procedures.
