Job summary

Chartwells School Dining Services K12 is hiring for a full-time Food Unit Lead in Arlington, MN. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with an $18.00–$19.00 per hour pay range. Prior supervisory food-service experience is preferred and training is available.

Responsibilities include coordinating food-service staff, assisting with menu planning, ensuring sanitation and safety, and handling cash and reports. Join a team committed to quality customer service in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory food-service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and portion control standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages.
• Helps plan menus and ensures timely meal service.
• Responds to customer complaints in person and via email.
• Trains employees and assigns work to ensure efficiency.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly reports and cash handling.
• Orders supplies from approved sources and ensures sanitation.
