Job summary

Fayette County Public Schools is seeking a part-time substitute food service worker to support meal preparation and service for students and staff. You will help prepare, portion, and serve food items, maintain clean and sanitary kitchens and serving areas, and assist with other duties as needed by the manager.

Experience in food service and strong communication are preferred. A high school diploma is preferred, and you may participate in in-service trainings to stay compliant with safety

• Experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in food sanitation and service.
• Neat appearance and effective communication and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items to students and staff.
• Maintain food service facilities in a sanitary condition.
• Attend in-service trainings and workshops as needed.
• Perform duties as assigned by manager (e.g., cashiering, utility, cook, trash disposal).
