Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares bulk quantities of food items.
• Sets up serving lines and serves food items on the line.
• Operates a computerized point-of-sale system.
• Operates a dishwasher.
• Washes pots and pans in a three-compartment sink.
• Cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and spaces.
• Maintains high-quality food preparation and customer service.
• Works effectively with others as part of a team.
• Coordinates with school staff on recycling program.
• Promotes new food items and nutrition education activities.
• Fills in for the manager after proficiency is demonstrated.
