Job summary

The Cobb County School District Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Floating Manager to serve as acting manager at the school level after completing the Manager-In-Training Program. You will support current managers and office staff until a permanent manager is chosen.

Position requires a high school diploma, completion of M.I.T., ServSafe, and USDA standards. This exempt, bi-weekly paid role reports to the Director of FNS and spans multiple school sites in Kennesaw, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of the Manager-In-Training Program; includes O.N.E. orientation.
• ServSafe Certification required; meets USDA Professional Standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance and notifies supervisor if late or absent.
• Operate the FNS program per established policies and procedures.
• Assist other managers and FNS staff; act as manager in training when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Attend manager and in-service meetings and adhere to dress code and HR policies.
