The role requires one year of quantity food prep experience, a valid Safe Food Handlers Certificate within five months, and ability to work in a school cafeteria environment. 35 hours weekly, 11 months per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in quantity food preparation in a school cafeteria or commercial establishment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee snack bar and/kitchen facilities on a middle, high, or continuation high school campus.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise preparation and sale of food and beverages.
• Order, receive and store food items; maintain inventory and records.
• Operate a point-of-sale and electronic mail system; handle cash receipts and daily sales.
