Qualifications

• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Serv-Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment
• Willingness to be assigned at any site within the base operation
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Physical requirements including standing, lifting, bending, and temperature variations
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or assist in preparing food as assigned
• Complete clean-up and dishwashing duties as assigned
• Report food supply needs and problems to the Site Supervisor
• Serve food to students and adults using portion control standards
• Maintain a clean work area
• Operate kitchen equipment safely
• Assist with all phases of kitchen operations
• Operate computerized cash register system
• Adhere to health and safety policies
• Adhere to dietary needs regulations
• Attend mandatory program training
• Support WCPS Food & Nutrition Services philosophy and mission
• Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to stakeholders
• Complete other duties as assigned
