Cedar Rapids Community School District is looking for a Food Service Assistant at West Willow Elementary School. The role follows a nine-month schedule, with summers off, and pays $15.89 per hour. Duties include food prep, serving meals, POS duties, and maintaining sanitation.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and kitchen experience is preferred. Benefits align with the district's work agreement; evenings and weekends are not required.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of school food service program, nutritional standards, and sanitation.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships to support a team atmosphere.
• Process strong communication skills and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Perform duties related to food service operations including food preparation and handling as assigned.
• Assist with cooking as needed.
• Wash and dry pots, pans, trays, and silverware using approved methods.
• Serve as POS for breakfast and lunch and verify reimbursable meals.
• Process daily tally counts for claim reimbursement.
• Assist with general cleanup duties.
• Maintain open communication with all served by Food & Nutrition Dept.
