Job summary

Spring ISD is seeking a Custodial Floor Technician for Dekaney High School in Houston, TX. You will clean and maintain flooring surfaces and perform related duties under the Director of Building Operations.

The role supports a safe, clean school environment and may involve project work as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of custodial experience; preferred 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, strip, wax, buff and burnish hard floor surfaces.
• Shampoo and spot clean carpets.
• Operate floor care equipment (auto scrubbers, buffers, extractors, vacuums).
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas (hallways, classrooms, offices, restrooms).
• Disinfect/restrooms and public areas; replenish dispensers.
